If your child is anxious, has unique healthcare needs, or requires extra support while visiting the dentist or orthodontist, we may recommend our sedation services. Dr. J. Carey Bonham is a certified sedation specialist. He will create a plan for your child's treatment based on their needs and health history before administering any anesthesia or other sedatives.
Checkups and Preventive Care
Our dentists typically follow the oral health guidelines established by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists (AAPD), advising children to be seen for preventive checkups every six months. We may recommend more frequent appointments if multiple cavities or early orthodontic concerns are detected. At Bonham Dental Arts, we help children learn about oral hygiene by providing simple oral health explanations that are easy to understand. We'll always provide comfortable x-rays, images, and other photos to get a clear picture of their oral health needs from the start!
Tooth-Colored Fillings
